Why Re-elect Kiger, Shue and Honeycutt?
It's hard to believe that it has been almost four years since our 2014 primary!  After much thought and consideration, Blake Kiger, Lynn Shue and I have decided to run for a second term and we need your help again.  We will be running as a team and hope you will consider supporting us in the 2018 primary.

If you will remember, the 2014 election was a volatile one and due to circumstances a large majority of citizens stepped up to vote for change.   In the two years prior to our election, less than a half dozen economic development projects came before a board that had established a majority anti-business reputation. Since our election in 2014 we have had business investments that have increased our tax base by over 800 million dollars  and over 3700 additional jobs. It is critical that we continue the business friendly environment that we have created in order to take full advantage of the opportunities at the former Philip Morris/Alevo properties as well as the 57 current active projects being pursued by our Economic Development  Corporation.

When things are going well, citizens can become complacent and not get involved.  This would be a real mistake.  That complacency could lead to a majority of our of Board of Commissioners returning  to the policies that previously choked our job creation efforts.
